Joyful Minds Training at PCYC – Police Community and Youth Centre
The PCYC – Police Community and Youth Centre is Australia’s pre-eminent non-profit Youth
OrganizaBon working with Police and community to empower young people to reach their
potenBal.
Thinking in bringing more mental health and well-being for the children and youth inside of
the PCYC, MRS JOY developed a special Joyful Minds Training designed to train the staff
members of the foundaBon, so they can apply Joyful Minds Training for their youth at high-
risk, and their families, at a regular basis.
“The intenBon is to create an everyday culture of people that can enjoy living more, loving
more, and respecBng others more, because of a joyful mind. With this new educaBon
becoming their default mode, and the new norm of our society, instead of stress and fear, all
of us will be living inside of a new society of peace, true love, fun, and joy”, explains MRS JOY.
Together we will be able to teach humankind to live with their nervous system self-regulated,
which will build a balanced society focused on well-being and thriving.

As part of the PCYC program Safe Space, Joyful Minds Training can be a source of mental health
and well-being for the whole community to shine and thrive.
Our aim is to bring the training to benefit Broome PCYC, and then to extend our mental health
and well-being project to be implemented in all PCYC’s in Australia. Together we can benefit
more than 100,000 youth members from PCYC.

playorm. We have more than 10,000 students worldwide, and since 2012 we have
been working to scale Joyful Minds Training in Australia and in the whole world. Our
aim is to support as many youths as possible and families with mental health, by
sharing the right education about stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide.
